The screen is no longer black. The Sprout is lying on the ground. A dandelion is seen near the edge of the screen.
''Dandelion'': ...GET UP!
The Sprout blinks, seemingly regaining conscience. They promptly get up.
''Dandelion'': Hey, over there! Come here!
A prompt appears on-screen, teaching the player the key they'll use for movement.
[[Sprout approaches the Dandelion]].
''Dandelion'': Are you alright? All in one piece? I saw you fall. Those crows... Ah, they bother me to no end! So violent, so cruel...
(...)
''Dandelion'': But are you well? You don't need medical assistance, do you?
//Choose an option.//
[[crows <- ...I'm alright.]]
[[crows <- ...I'm a bit shaken, but I'm not in pain.]]
''Dandelion'': That's great, because I'm no doctor. Hmmph, I tell you, they make me so mad! People get seriously hurt by these crows! Why, I'm pretty sure some poor, innocent creature is getting harrassed by one this very instant.
There's a moment of silence. The Dandelion is frowning, fuming at the thought of crows, and the Sprout appears overwhelmed.
''Dandelion'': What's the worst is that I can't even do anything to protect myself, seeing as I'm rooted here in the ground. Ah, but you! You should find someplace to hide, little one. You're prime feeding material for those villainous birds, after all.
(...)
''Sprout'': Thing is... Hiding, um... Well... Do you, uh, do you know how to get to the beach?
''Dandelion'' (surprised): The beach? You want to go to the beach? Well, I suppose it makes sense. The seagulls know how to keep the place safe from crows. I'd be careful, though, small one. The crows are most definitely not done attacking just yet. It'd take a lot of little steps for someone like you to make it there, but I think you can do it if you've got the resolve.
''Sprout'' (excited): You really think I can get to the beach?
''Dandelion'': As I said, it's all about resolve.
//A crow is heard? seen? Sprout and the Dandelion notice it.//
''Dandelion'': Crows! Gah. Quick, hide with me!
[[Sprout hides with the Dandelion]]
The crow flies overhead. The Dandelion's seeds get blown away. Its stem, however, remains conscious. Sprout looks shocked, concerned.
''Dandelion'': I'm fine, I'm fine, don't look at me that way! It was bound to happen anyways.
''Sprout'': You're not hurt?
''Dandelion'': Oh, not at all, no! Those were my seeds that just flew away, you see. It means they're ready to grow. My, I do wish it'd happened at a better time, though. I fear that the crows will interfere with their growth. How about you do me a favor, tiny sprout?
''Sprout'': What is it?
''Dandelion'': My seeds, my children, I'd rather they not grow up in this garden. As a parent, I don't want them to face the tyranny of crows, and don't even get me started on this garden's poor conditions. Yes, I think they'd be better off growing someplace else. Do you think you can find them for me and carry them somewhere else? Somewhere safer?
//Choose an option//
[[No way, that's dangerous!]]
[[Yes, I'll do it.]]
''Dandelion'': Oh, and here I thought I could rely on you! Well, you're making your way through the garden anyways, are you not? If you see them, it can't hurt to take the kids with you as far as you can. There should be four of them somewhere along this path. Find them and carry them for me, can you please?
''Sprout'': Fine, I'll do it.
''Dandelion'': Ah, thank you, sprout! Godspeed!
[[Leave.]]
''Dandelion'': Superb! What a kind little soul you've got. I knew I could rely on you. They all must be somewhere along this path. If you follow it, you should be able to find the four of them. Thank you, kind sprout! Godspeed!
[[Leave.]]going to find them seeds, innit?
you can also [[go back and talk to the Dandelion.]]
''Dandelion'': What is it?
//Choose an option.//
[[Leave.<- It's nothing]]
[[Can you tell me more about your children?]]
''Dandelion'': There should be four of them somewhere along this path. They all look the same. Picking them up is easy, just walk over to them and they'll cling to you. They'll know when you've reached a safe spot for them to grow. Good luck, kind sprout!
